John Dixon is a born and bred Sheffield DJ/PRODUCER/PROMOTOR/PHOTOGRAPHER

John is a fresh face in the music and clubbing world and one of the biggest growing talents to emerge in the UK.

John began DJing in February 2006 where he started his journey in making a name for himself. Since then he has progressed as a DJ and become renowned for his sets of funky uplifting house and dirty jackin electro music.

At the young age of 24, John has played at many different events up and down the country including Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Glasshouse, Fierce Angel and Speed Queen to name just a few. He has also had the privilege of gracing the decks with the likes of Sandy Rivera, Herd & Fitz, Graeme Park, Kate Lawler, Norman Jay MBE, Anne Savage, The Freemasons, The Hoxton Whores, Oliver Lang and K Klass.

John is now resident at Lions Lair in Sheffield who are set for MASSIVE things in the future. He is leading the way behind the decks and creating a new sound for the people of Sheffield to get down to. This has also gained John gigs up in Leeds at Stinky's Peep House where he mixed it up in style during the summer of 2010.

John has recently launched his own clubbing brand ROBOFUNK http://www.robo-funk.com with events firmly established in Sheffield at Lions Lair on a regular monthly basis with some special annual events in between.

With John being recognised as one of the biggest up and coming talents to emerge in the clubbing world, his love for music grows every day as he continues to impress everywhere he plays.

He has also started producing and remixing as well as DJing and is soon set to release his first track. Not only is John gaining a name for himself behind the decks but also in the studio too.
